I really like number one best. The tones are great and it's a lovely low key image that retains a lot of detail. I think the image is better balanced by moving Lola slightly upwards.

I prefer the large image at the top of the page, black and white and by moving Lola off centre makes for better composition and removes ditracting log top centre.

I prefer the original, mate... keep her as she was. Its a cracker of a photo... it doesn't need anything footered with. If you want it in the bottom third then crop the pic.

Love the grasses and reflections in the water but particularly fascinated by the geometrical patterns of image 15 in the series.

Hi Marc

Just browsing through some of your beautiful pictures and this one made me stop and think.
I love this scene and found it quite emotive. The unmade road, and the bare feet, capture the poverty of the area but at the same time you can almost sense the contentment and joy of the children, satisfied with the simple pleasures and just playing together.

I think the last time I saw a scene like this, was in a little village in the mountains of Crete.
I think you captured more than just a picture with this one, very nice.

Cheers Michael. That shot is probably a bit better balanced than the main image, but it was just a 'grab shot', or should I say 'digital sketch', taken handheld at f5.6.
