Links

As a starter for ten, here are a few of my favorite links that may be interest you. I intend to expand this section considerably in the future but, at the moment, this is not a priority in the long list of ‘work in progress’ on my site.

For one of my favorite photographers, check out Frans Lanting or one of his exceptional pieces of work at Life – A Journey in Time. His photograps are an inspiration to me, but his work really excels through his talent of telling stories through photographs.

For wildlife photography that we all dream of taking one day, check out Ben Hall Photography.

For landscape photography, check out my favorite, but usual suspects (in no particular order) at Charlie Waite, Joe Cornish, Colin Prior, Peter Watson, David Ward and Lee Frost.

For a lesser known, but very inspirational landscape, nature and travel photographer, check out Hamish Roots’ photography and travel guides at Light over Water. He is not just a talented and original photographer, he is also a very talented writer.

For some other photographers that have caught my eye, check out Joe Potter, Oliver Webber, Natalie Manuel, Tim Parkin and Michael McCready.

For an online and local gallery, check out Gallery 2c and Street Level Photo Works.

For two forums I frequent, check out The Whippet Forum and Canon Digital Photography Forum.

For second hand and new camera dealers that I have bought gear from (and can highly recommend), check out Ffordes, Aperture, Flash Camera (Ian Kerr) and Speed Graphic.

Want to publish a book, I can highly recommend blurb.com.

Interested in caricatures and fast cars, check out Stewart McQuillian’s Club Art.

For web design and web site hosting, I can recommend my hosts NSDesign.
